GotCotton.com is an innovative tool for marketing your Bales of Cotton on the Internet. After the cotton is on our site the seller activates the sale by setting a “Buy now” firm price and a “Minimum bid” price that will set the lowest bid that would be considered. Once the bid is activated buyers throughout the world will now have a chance to look at bale-by-bale data, view recaps, make competitive bids, and buy your cotton.
GotCotton takes pride in the fact that there are no monthly fees and signing up for access to GotCotton.com website is easy and free. Some of the advantages you will receive when selling your bales of cotton on our GotCotton.com website are (1.) Posting of your bales is done anonymously (2.) The selling style of our website allows firm offers with bids (3.) Have a Greater Number of Buyers View your Bales of Cotton through the World Wide Web. Buyers and Sellers will both benefit from browsing and bidding on more Recaps.
GotCotton will collect a $0.75 cent per bale commission from both the buyer and the seller at the completion of a sale on our website. We are very adamant that websites should remain viewable free of charge and our site will only collect a commission when our service has been performed. When a seller posts cotton to our site we will create a recap and bale-by-bale page for their lot of cotton. We will also create invoices and purchase orders for both the buyers and the sellers. It is our plan to provide an easy to use website and service that will benefit both the sellers and the buyers of the cotton world.
Transactions through GotCotton.com are safe and secure. The seller sends the electronic Receipt to the bank as a pending Bank Draft. The buyer sends funds for Purchase to the bank. Once funds are received the bank wire transfers money (funds) to the seller which releases the Receipt and forwards the E. W. R. to the buyer. The $0.75 cent commission to gotcotton.com will be deducted from the wire transfer to the seller.
